Working with adults, Gambling Disorder, Intimate Partner Violence, Substance Use Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Depression, Anxiety.  Modalities include Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (trained trainer), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy

Lori Mello has experience working with a variety of populations including at-risk families and youth, gambling disorder (60 hours trained), intimate partner violence, and individuals with mental health challenges including bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder issues, depression and anxiety.

Lori enjoys teaching Human Service, Psychology, and Sociology courses at Baker College – Metro Campus.

Lori holds an undergraduate degree in Social Work from San Diego State University, a graduate degree in Counseling from Oakland University, and a graduate degree in Public Administration, also from Oakland University.
