Grand Blanc, Mich. – Pandemics can be stressful. The unknown of it can put anxiety on people who have never experienced it before.
Mid-Michigan NOW reached out to Gina Shuster, a mental health expert at Oakland Psychological Clinic in Grand Blanc, to find out some ways you can cope with stress.
“Think about what you can control, what things can you do. So focusing on I can control who I’m in contact with, I can control what places I’m going to, I can control when I’m going to bed, what activities I’m doing throughout the day,” Shuster said.
Shuster goes on to say:
“Focusing on those things that are within our power, within our control instead of that long-distance what am I going to do.”
