Mr. Timothy Dawson is a master level licensed social worker.  He conducts individual psychotherapy with adolescents and adults; group psychotherapy with adults; family counseling; marital/divorce counseling; and chemical dependency therapy with adolescents and adults.  Mr. Dawson practices in our Livonia Clinic location.

Mr. Dawson offers clients a caring, professional counseling relationship.  His specialties include:  relationships, anger management, depression, anxiety, addictions, grief/loss and adolescent/family issues.  He promotes trust by  providing a comfortable environment and an honest, reliable commitment to meeting his clients' needs.  He will honor values and dreams while seeking to challenge negative assumptions of self, identify destructive behavior patterns, and encourage positive life changes.  His approach is pragmatic and solution-focused with emphasis on personal coping strategies.  The important role that interpersonal communication skills play in both mental and physical wellness is highlighted.
